About
Hey, welcome to Breathe n Bend Yoga. I'm Mitra
I’m a Sydney-based yoga teacher with a simple mission—to help you feel better in your body and mind through the power of breath.
A few years ago, I hit a point where I felt completely burnt out. I was constantly adjusting my diet and daily habits to get through the day. When I found yoga, especially breathwork, it changed everything. It helped me rebuild my energy, reset my nervous system, and feel like myself again.
That experience led me to study more deeply. I completed my 500-hour Diploma with The Yoga Institute Sydney, grounded in the teachings of Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar. I’m also a registered Level 1 teacher with Yoga Australia and part of the faculty at Heartfulness Yoga Meditation Australia.
Today, I share gentle, breath-led yoga practices designed to reduce stress, support your wellbeing, and help you reconnect with yourself—whether online or in person.
